Pure - Frostrøyk

from NOK 9,750.00

Frostrøyk is a felted artwork shaped by the stillness of Nordic winter mornings.

Crafted from locally sourced Norwegian wool, the material is gently cleaned and hand felted in soft, misty hues of grey and white.

Each piece is one of a kind. The natural irregularities in the wool and the slow, organic process ensure that every Frostrøyk carries its own quiet character, like the fleeting veil of frost rising in the cold air.

A sculptural, tactile presence designed to bring silence, serenity, and elegance into any room.

The architect

Annemieke Koopmans-Holtrop is an architect with a deep fascination for the tactile and sensory qualities of materials.

As founder and lead designer at flokk & fjell, she brings together technical precision and artistic sensitivity , creating textile acoustic solutions that are as functional as they are poetic.

With a background rooted in both construction and composition, Annemieke approaches wool with the architect’s eye for space, lines, and relationships. She allows the material’s natural qualities color, fiber, texture to guide each design rather than control it.

Her inspiration comes from the Norwegian landscape, traditional building techniques, and a respect for the timeless. The result is handcrafted products defined by quiet luxury, made for interiors that value both stillness and character.
