For the new Pento Audiology Center Friesland, Flokk & Fjell produced and delivered custom-made sound absorbers made of wool based on Roem's interior design concept. The felt was integrated into curved wall surfaces clad with oak panels, which required precision in both detailing and material matching.

The contrast between wool felt and oak gives the room acoustic performance, tactile richness and natural warmth, while following the architectural flow of the curved walls. The wool felt becomes part of the spatial rhythm, not just an applied layer, but an integrated design element.

This project highlights the flexibility of wool felt acoustic solutions as a material: it can be tailored to complex shapes and seamlessly integrated into architectural details, while also reflecting our commitment to sustainable, natural solutions that enhance both atmosphere and function.

Through close collaboration with Roem, we transformed a natural material into a refined interior solution – where design vision, craftsmanship and sustainability meet.
