Cooperation
In collaboration with Roem Ontwerp, we have designed wall installations for Etran BV's new office. These installations improve the indoor environment by absorbing sound, regulating humidity, neutralizing VOCs and adding biophilic qualities. Biophilic design in offices involves integrating natural elements and qualities into offices and common areas to increase well-being, concentration and creativity.
Color palette
The colors in the wall installation complement the color palette that interior designer Rianne has designed for the office. The mix of wool, silk, and various plant colors seamlessly blends with the wall-to-wall tapestries, wooden walls, and furniture, creating a calming and inspiring atmosphere.
Plant dyes
The main color in this wool felt pattern is the plant color indigo, complemented by gray tones from Gammelnorsk Spælsau. Details from Krapp are used to harmonize with the wall to wall tapestry in the office design. Smaller color details give the work extra dimension. These come from wool and silk remnants from other projects. We use all the wool and silk we have available, so that there is a connection between the projects and each individual wall textile and artwork.
